Texas Public Works Association
American Public Works Association Overview
To best meet the needs of our members, the geographically diverse State of Texas has been divided in Branch areas. The nine current Branches (map located on Texas Chapter web site) are: Central Texas Branch (centered around Austin/Waco), North Central Branch (centered around DFW Metroplex), Paso del Norte Branch (centered around El Paso), Permian Basin (centered around Midland/Odessa), Rio Grande Valley Branch (centered around Rio Grande Valley), South Central Branch (centered around San Antonio), Southeast Branch (centered around Houston), South Plains Branch (centered around Lubbock), and the West Central Branch (centered around Abilene). Each Branch meets locally and provides educational programming for members. There is no charge to be a member of a Branch and membership in a Branch is based on a member’s geography location.
The Texas Chapter and Branches are committed to providing leadership opportunities for public works professionals. The Chapter—as well as each Branch—seeks interested individuals who wish to be of service to their profession.
