It is the intent of the Southeast Branch to provide representation at APWA and TPWA events.
These events include the APWA Congress, TPWA Annual Conference, TPWA Short Course, TML and other meetings as determined necessary by the Board.
The applicant must attend the appropriate meetings at the designated event to represent the Southeast Branch and voice the needs and concerns of the Southeast Branch.
The Board would direct the applicant as to which meetings should be attended in each case.
The applicant must be a current Board Member of the Southeast Branch.
The applicant must work for a Public Agency.
Application and Approval
Scholarship requests must be submitted in writing with a breakdown of costs for the amount requested.
The scholarship amount would be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and approved based on the availability of funds and the discretion of the Board.
Scholarship approvals and amounts would be determined by a majority decision of the Board.
Receipts must be submitted for reimbursement of costs, or the current Southeast Branch Treasurer could purchase necessary conference registrations and travel arrangements directly upon approval of the Board.
